"BE NOTICED"

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) will be handing out reflective safety vests as part of the Vulnerable Road User Campaign, BE NOTICED, aimed at increasing visibility and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
Community members are invited to visit Smith’s in Pahrump on December 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, to receive a free reflective vest. These vests are designed to improve visibility for individuals who are walking, running, or bicycling, especially during low-light conditions.
The Vulnerable Road User Campaign focuses on reducing roadway injuries and fatalities by encouraging safe behaviors and increasing awareness for all who share the road.
The Nye County Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance personal safety and help make local roadways safer for everyone.
