Country Editor was a locally owned and operated ‘pennysaver’ publication serving the Mohawk Valley and Herkimer County, NY areas in various iterations for decades. It was dedicated to providing readers a weekly forum, both online and in print, to advertise businesses, community groups and personal items - famously, “the small paper that gives big results!”

Though the print publication closed its

doors in 2023 in the wake of rising production costs, we have remained here on Facebook, preserving an avenue for digital connection. In the spring of 2024, it became possible to move forward with a new and revitalized local print publication - reaching the rural lifestyle component and showcasing everything there is to love about “small town livin’.” The Country Editor has consolidated with Country Culture and we can be located moving forward at that page. The Country Editor page will be monitored through Dec. 31, 2024. New content will be sporadic until that time and will cease as of Jan. 1, 2025 as we move completely to our new Country Culture spaces and close this chapter on the Country Editor. Thank you for the many memories and your support throughout the years. We couldn’t have done this without you - and we hope you’ll join us for the journey that’s ahead!

Well, it's that time. Since 2010, we have built community here on Facebook as the Country Editor of the Mohawk Valley and Herkimer County areas of the upstate - evolving after a short respite into Country Culture, continuing to reach our local communities and showcasing the best of "small town livin'" through engaging farm and home editorial and much, much more.
We're so thankful for our community - and for each one of you specifically who has come along on this journey with Country Culture. We hope you'll continue to be a part of our readership family for many years to come.
This will be our final post on this timeline; moving forward all content will be consolidated to our primary page: Country Culture. Be sure to follow us there for regular updates!
