🐼 Chicago, tomorrow is the last day of Panda Fest.
Over 100 vendors in Butler Field and I still didn’t get through half of it. Filipino food, dumplings, seafood, and every viral thing you’ve seen online. Everybody decked out in panda headbands, performances going all day, and plenty of merch to pick up.
Everyone who walks in gets a custom Chicago panda pin and a headband.

🐼 Panda Fest is finally in Chicago.
One of the biggest Asian street food festivals in the country takes over Butler Field this Friday through Sunday. 100+ vendors, 200+ Asian street foods, live performances, a 15 foot panda, and a panda bounce house for the kids.
Everyone who walks in gets a custom Chicago panda pin and a panda headband.

Free coffee truck at theChicago Air & Water Show 🧡

I sat down at a sushi counter in Tokyo I’m still thinking about, and I found it on Tabélog 🍣
It’s the restaurant app locals in Japan actually use — the scores come from people who live there, not tourists, and only about 3% of restaurants ever break a 3.5. Better odds than eating at the same places everybody’s already posting.
Saving this one for anyone figuring out where to eat in Japan.

Chicago got the first official Demon Slayer Cafe in the U.S. and I got invited in before opening day to try the entire menu 👹 The whole space is themed after the Entertainment District Arc, and the menu is from David Choi, the Seoul Taco founder. It opens Saturday, August 8 and runs through October, with giveaways on opening day. Cosplay is encouraged.
