One other thing I would like to share is a wonderful tribute to Batya by Mikell Clayton and Craig and Jan O'Dell of Gates to Zion Ministries, West Columbia South Carolina. The heartfelt reminiscing is something that I have listened to a few times. It warms my heart.
Unfortunately audio is not directly sharable here, but the following link is the mp3 of Mike's march message before his trip to Israel. Their conversation truly honors Batya and as leaders, they had a unique insight into what she struggled with as she shared the vision the Lord imparted to her.

Shabbat Shalom,
Today we will highlight Batya's book on the upcoming feast of Passover. Like the Primer, Batya had hoped to make an easily accessible and easy to read shorter version of a preexisting work. While everything in this book is also in Israel's Feasts in Their Fullness. This is all of the Passover content from that work.
On this feast day, let us remember Batya's devotion to a quickly approaching high day. This will be the last highlighted work that we post in this period of remembrance. It seems fitting that it would be all about remembrance of one of the greatest events in Hebrew culture. The Passover.

Today, we will highlight a collaboration. It is fitting that book is all about the Spirit. She was as charismatic as they get. On Sunday we will post her last public speech and it was filled with the Spirit. She believed so fiercely that the Spirit would be a crucial element of the restoration. I read this book when I first took over Key of Publishing and now that I have refreshed my memory, I find myself reading it again. We can always use a different perspective and some wisdom with regard to the Spirit. It surrounds us and guides us if we let it. Batya always sought to be filled with the Spirit when she wrote, she was certainly filled with it when she spoke.

Tonight we highlight one of Batya's shortest books. It is intended to be that way. She took the concepts from Who Is Israel and Why You Need To Know and she made an elevator pitch edition. That is the Primer. As she used to say, it primes you to want to know more. Over the past 10 years, it has been our most requested book. She wanted it to be cheap enough to be easy to give to anyone who was interested. Many people have bought it to do just that.

Tonight, we are highlighting Batya's work that came from Who Is Israel. She never finished exploring or refining. She decided that the stuff you need to take your time with needed to go in this book. So, this work is for those who really want to dig into the subject. Tomorrow, we will highlight the book that she designed to be quick and to the point. She always tried to be able to have a message for everyone. All things to all people. Mama Batya had a nurturing spirt to all those who asked questions like she did.

Today will be the last article we share in this month of remembrance. While she had many more, the last few days will be focused on books and other media. So, as a last word for her articles, let it be focused on the place where the Father's eye never leaves. Jerusalem. In this article, Batya addresses hopes and pitfalls. She outlines our past mistakes and some ill advised premises while always keeping her eyes fixed toward the Father's ultimate goal. A restored Kingdom and Heaven brought to earth. She doesn't pull any punches and never turns away from her identity in Messiah. But, she always gives due respect to God's chosen people and their anointed role.
On a personal note, in my travels, I have defended her reputation against others, but it was never against something she said or did. It was always against something someone said she said or did. She was a mentor to me and never led me astray. She always said follow the Word and the Ruach and you will always get where you need to go. In all of her writing, that is all that I ever saw or heard her do.

Tonight, I thought it appropriate to unveil Batya's defense of the Star of David when we could see it best. The twilight hours (at least for the east coast). She never hesitated to take on controversial subjects. She always did so with calm methodical precision. She will give her take on one last one before the month is out. But, that is for another day.

Today, We remember Batya's poignant reminder to hear our Heavenly Father's voice. As she says, "Difficult times are at our door, and each of us needs to learn to clearly hear Him." Wise words for all time, not just the times in which we live.
A special shout out to John Diffenderfer who produced the cover. Batya was very particular about fonts and graphics and she loved this cover.
