I had an incredible time visiting 91.3 Hope FM and celebrating a huge milestone, 30 years of broadcasting hope into our community. Walking into the station you can immediately feel the passion and dedication behind the voices that so many people listen to every day. It was amazing getting a behind the scenes look at the studio and meeting the people who work hard to keep positive music and encouraging messages on the air.

For three decades Hope FM has been more than just a radio station. It has been a source of encouragement, faith, and inspiration for families across our region. Stations like this are a powerful reminder of how local media can bring people together and make a real impact.

I’m truly grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to celebrate this moment with them. Reaching 30 years on the air is an incredible achievement and it shows how much this station means to the community.

Congratulations to everyone at 91.3 Hope FM on 30 years of spreading positivity, uplifting music, and hope. The community is better because of what you do every single day.

Putnam County question. I’m working on a video about one of our strangest local legends, the Bardin Bo**er. If you grew up around Bardin, Interlachen, Palatka, or anywhere in the woods of Putnam County you may have heard stories about this mysterious creature.

I’m looking for locals who have heard family stories, seen something strange in the woods, or know where sightings were rumored to happen. Old memories, eyewitness encounters, local folklore, and childhood stories are exactly what I’m hoping to document.

If you or someone in your family has a story about the Bardin Bo**er drop it in the comments or send me a message. Your story could be featured in the video as we explore this strange piece of Putnam County history and local legend.

πŸŽ₯ NEW VIDEO from Putnam Proud

I stopped by Turquoise & Tinsel Boutique in Palatka Florida and this locally owned shop is a great example of the small businesses that make our community special. 🀠 The boutique is located at 419 St Johns Avenue Suite 2 in downtown Palatka, and it is full of southern charm and western style.

Inside you will find western apparel, turquoise jewelry, accessories, and boutique fashion that really stands out. πŸ’Ž One thing I really liked is that they also support local brands, which helps other small businesses grow right here in Putnam County. That kind of community support is exactly what Putnam Proud is all about.

I went to Petey's Beer & Wine Garden in Palatka and let me tell you I thought I was going for a chill drink and ended up in a full blown baby goat fan club. This spot has craft beer, wine, outdoor vibes, and actual goats living their best life. Kids and animals are allowed so it is basically the most Florida wholesome hangout ever. My favorite part was feeding the baby goats because nothing humbles you faster than a tiny goat demanding snacks like it owns the place. Cold drinks, sunset energy, laughing with friends, and goats stealing the show, 10 out of 10 experience. If you have not been yet you are missing out on one of the most unique hidden gems in Palatka.

I finally made it out to Petey's Beer & Wine Garden in downtown Palatka, 715 St. Johns Avenue, and man I had a blast. The beer and wine garden is tucked in the back of the business, and when you walk through it feels like you just unlocked a hidden level of downtown Palatka. Backyard vibes, string lights, beer, wine nights, good music, and that perfect Florida evening atmosphere. It is one of those local spots that just hits right. 🍻✨

And before anybody asks, yes they have non-alcoholic options too, so you can still pull up, vibe out, and be the responsible friend with the keys. It is family friendly, children and animals are welcome, so you can bring the whole crew. Date night, weekend hangout, or a random Tuesday where you just need to relax, this place works. 🐐🐾

I seriously enjoyed every minute and I am already planning my next trip back. If you have not checked out Petey’s yet, you are missing one of the best small town experiences in Palatka. Keep a look out for a full video of the establishment dropping this Monday, you are definitely going to want to see it. πŸŽ₯πŸ”₯
