Report just ignited one of the biggest NFL debates of the year. In a recent article by Alex Kay, BR labeled Lamar Jackson “the most overrated quarterback in the NFL,” citing his playoff record and lack of a Super Bowl appearance—despite being a two-time MVP.
The article argues:
• No Super Bowl + 3–5 playoff record = overrated
• Inconsistent playoff performances overshadow regular season dominance
• His MVP success is “borderline fraudulent” without a ring
But many fans and analysts completely disagree, calling Lamar one of the most unique and impactful players in the league today. From historic rushing stats to carrying the Ravens deep into the postseason, supporters say the “overrated” label is simply disrespectful.
