A lot has been happening behind the scenes.

My Facebook profile recently reached 1.1 million views over 28 days, including a new personal record of 140,000 views in a single day. It’s been exciting to watch the audience grow and to learn more about what connects with people.

Over the past few days, I’ve been developing a more structured social media posting schedule and refining how I approach each platform. It actually reminds me of my blogging days, when producing 15–20 posts a day was part of my normal workflow.

I’m enjoying bringing that same creative rhythm into this new chapter of AI storytelling and digital media — while continuing to build out what comes next.

Happy Friday, everyone! 😄 Hope you have a cool, relaxing weekend and get a chance to enjoy yourself.

And judging by this picture… apparently I already started with lunch. 😂

I arrived in Los Angeles on January 21, 1979 — Super Bowl Sunday. I was seven years old, almost eight, coming to California by way of the Bronx, with a year in Georgia in between.

That day, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat my Dallas Cowboys 35–31 in Super Bowl XIII. I was already a Cowboys fan — Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill…those were my guys.

And then there was California. 😄 The Fonz was popular, the sun was shining, and to this little kid from the Bronx, California felt like heaven.

That’s me sitting on the back of my dad’s Mercury Cougar. We called the car “Fudge.” And judging by those thumbs, I apparently thought I was the Fonz. 😂 Ayyyy!

What a time. What a memory.

Talk about a double take! 😳 As Russell Westbrook retires after an incredible 18-season NBA career, I had to pull this antique photo from my collection. Tell me this gentleman doesn’t look like he could be related to Russell! 😂 Vintage doppelgänger or what?

I shared this story years ago, however many of you may not have heard it.

By 20, I had already been living on my own for about five years. I became an emancipated minor at 15 and was paying my own bills, however nobody had taught me how to manage or save money. My father never talked to me about what I earned or how to handle it, so I had to figure that out for myself. And when a 15-year-old suddenly gets access to thousands of dollars from his trust fund, there’s definitely going to be some spending. 😂

One month I might have money from an acting job or residuals, and another month I could be nearly broke. Residuals have been a blessing since I was a kid, and I’m grateful I still receive them today. Back then, because I had worked so much as a child, I usually knew another check would come. Then I’d spend again. It became a cycle.

Around this time, I sold my BMW for about $8,000 to help my mother. I gave her most of it, kept a few hundred dollars, bought a bicycle and paid for classes at Los Angeles Valley College.

One day I had a final and sat at a bus stop in North Hollywood, running late. I prayed, “Lord, please let me get to school in time to take this test.”

Within minutes, a truck pulled up honking. It was Michael Bivins from New Edition.

I’d known Michael since I was a tween. He asked what I was doing at the bus stop, I told him I didn’t have a car, and he offered me a ride.

Inside, Michael introduced me to an up-and-coming rapper named M.C. Brains. They were playing an early tape of his new song, “Oochie Coochie.” I remember saying, “Man, this is slamming!” 😂 Later, the title registered with me. Okayyy…I get it now. 😂

Michael got me to school in time for my final. It may seem like a small moment, however I’ve never forgotten it. Whenever I see Michael or hear New Edition, I think about that day.

And anybody say anything about Michael, we gonna be fightin’. 😂 Just kidding.

I said a prayer at a bus stop, and a few minutes later, the answer pulled up beside me. 🙏

Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s passing continues to be felt by so many who grew up watching and admiring his work. Now, his widow, Tenisha Warner, is reportedly facing a difficult new chapter involving her late husband’s estate while raising their 9-year-old daughter.

A longtime friend, Destiny Rael, has launched a GoFundMe to help Tenisha with ongoing financial pressures and provide stability for her and her daughter as the estate matters continue to be resolved.

A fan sent me this photo a while back, and it really stayed with me. It amazes me how television can keep reaching new generations through reruns. Seeing a child watching Diff’rent Strokes all these years later is pretty special. I’d love to know what he was thinking while watching us. 😄
