Today, country music lost one of its brightest lights.

Dolly Parton was so much more than a country music legend. She was an ambassador for country music, a songwriter who gave us songs that became part of our lives, and a genuinely good soul who seemed to make the world a little better just by being in it.

There are stars, there are legends, and then there was Dolly.

Thank you, Dolly. Thank you for the songs, the laughs, the stories, and for representing country music with so much class, grace and love.

We will always love you.
