College of the Desert’s award-winning radio station, COD Roadrunner Radio, provides students with the opportunity to dream up new and innovative ideas for radio programs and gain hands-on broadcasting and producing experience. COD Roadrunner Radio educates and grows future radio personalities, producers and entertainment professionals. The station plays a variety of music and discovers new artists

for your college radio soundtrack. Radio and television students gain hands-on experience with live broadcasting, production, events, management, news, sports, programming, social media, deejaying, announcing and more. Students will learn all aspects of running a radio station using the latest in digital radio technology. COD Roadrunner Radio is located at the Media Center across the street from College of the Desert's Palm Desert campus. Students from the RTV classes not only comprise the student staff of the radio station, they write, produce and appear as on-air talent. Students get hands-on experience with broadcasting and production, and learn how to operate a radio station. COD Roadrunner Radio also has volunteer community hosts and Djs from around the Coachella Valley community.
