What I did for my BRAT Summer:
1) Went back east and played in the Atlantic Ocean. She was rough.
2) Had the best time of my entire life at the Fire Island - so much dancing, so much joy, so many soul connections. And on top of all that, I got to DJ there too!
3) Visited my family in NJ and while passing the house I grew up in, I stopped and was invited inside. It was tearful and beautiful and I felt my mom’s presence as memories flooded my heart.
4) Finally checked out the and nuts in the giant Twister room
5) DJ’d in wine country where I slept in an old bo****lo with a mirror on the ceiling of the canopy bed
6) Met my #1 everything thanks to my other everything
7) Was nominated for an Emmy for a PBS kids show I wrote and directed. Didn’t take home a statue but now I can actually say, “it was an honor just to be nominated.”
8) Saw the at The Sphere with one of my best friends. They played my favorite song and here’s my favorite lyric to that favorite song.
9) Cleaned up the aftermath from all the fun.
