is my favorite weekend of the year. I’m putting my all into these performances - especially the Big Bang Blast Off when I’m headlining the Main Stage on Friday night! It’s an inter-gay-lactic party where I’m DJing from my very own UFO with sexy half-naked space men and an alien encounter.

And then I’m closing down Pride on Sunday night with a solid gold disco set on the Arenas Stage.

What I did for my BRAT Summer:

1) Went back east and played in the Atlantic Ocean. She was rough.

2) Had the best time of my entire life at the Fire Island - so much dancing, so much joy, so many soul connections. And on top of all that, I got to DJ there too!

3) Visited my family in NJ and while passing the house I grew up in, I stopped and was invited inside. It was tearful and beautiful and I felt my mom’s presence as memories flooded my heart.

4) Finally checked out the and nuts in the giant Twister room

5) DJ’d in wine country where I slept in an old bo****lo with a mirror on the ceiling of the canopy bed

6) Met my #1 everything thanks to my other everything

7) Was nominated for an Emmy for a PBS kids show I wrote and directed. Didn’t take home a statue but now I can actually say, “it was an honor just to be nominated.”

8) Saw the at The Sphere with one of my best friends. They played my favorite song and here’s my favorite lyric to that favorite song.

9) Cleaned up the aftermath from all the fun.

Excited to announce my new DJ residency at Neon Oasis. It’s every Saturday night at The Sonoran.

2 dance floors (I’m playing house music in the Leopard Lounge and a rotation of great DJ’s are spinning Top 40 and club hits in the Electric Ballroom) with state of the art sound and lighting. There’s also a patio with late night bites, easy parking and the best atmosphere in town.

Dreams do come true!

‘s music is the soundtrack to my heart and soul. And I got to tell her that right before this photo was taken. She’s every bit as beautiful and warm and sweet and real as you’d imagine. And boy, did she put on a show.

Then she told me that she saw me dancing and giving her life from the front row and she even complimented my outfit. I explained that it’s my “Mod-Nation” tribute to her… and she laughed. (Side note: when I bought this crazy get-up, I KNEW there would be a special occasion it would be perfect for but I never expected THIS!)

Thank you Billy Rodriguez for making this all possible. What a cherished moment. What a treasured photo. What a special memory to have shared with you. I love you. ❤️

I know it’s hard to believe, but I’m seriously running out of space in my closet. Someone suggested that every time I get a new outfit, I let go of one. But it’s really hard to let go of my friends, even if some of them are a little weird.

I love living in Palm Springs. The history. The happiness. The houses. Especially this house - Frank Sinatra’s Twin Palms Estate. DJing here never gets old. In fact, it’s utterly magical. Five facts about this iconic pad designed by E. Stewart Williams: 1) The pool is shaped like a grand piano and every afternoon the walkway panels cast a shadow that looks like piano keys. How cool is that? 2) It’s called Twin Palms because there are two tall palm trees that grace the backyard.3) It’s home to one of the very first home recording studios ever created. I can just imagine the singalongs that took place in that living room. 4) Famous for their fights, Frank and Ava Gardner were in a legendary argument when Frank reportedly threw a bottle of champagne at her, leaving a crack in the bathroom sink that’s still there today. 5) The abstract artwork that currently hangs on the walls were all painted by Frank later in his life.

This can only mean one thing. Obviously I need more clothes.
