Today in Quake History: Jan. 9, 1984 - released their 6th studio album, "1984" (MCML###IV). It was the last Van Halen album to feature new music with lead singer David Lee Roth (who left the band in 1985 following creative differences) until their 2012 release "A Different Kind Of Truth".

"1984" produced four singles, including "Jump" (Van Halen's only number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100), the top-20 hits "Panama" and "I'll Wait", and the MTV favorite "Hot for Teacher". It and the band's self-titled debut album are their best-selling albums, each having sold more than 10 million copies in the United States.

will be part of comedian Bert Kreischer's Full Throttle Festival on Feb. 14 in Daytona Beach, Fla., before heading to Brazil for four shows during April, including a stadium date with Guns N' Roses. This summer, Skynyrd launches a Double Trouble Double Vision Tour with Foreigner on July 23 in Atlanta, running through August.

Before all that the group's profile will be raised when their classic anthem "Free Bird" is used in an ad during the Super Bowl LX telecast on Feb. 8. A biopic is also in the works...

A new movie is coming to theaters on June 26th, as announced by co-creator Johnny Knoxville on social media.

follows 2022’s Jackass Forever, which saw Knoxville suffer a brain injury on set after being thrown off a bull. The cast has yet to be announced, but series regulars Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Dave England, and Ehren McGhehey all starred in the last film.

Johnny Knoxville has confirmed Jackass 5 will be released in theaters on June 26th via Paramount Pictures. No further details have been revealed.
