This BMW arrived with a crank-no-start condition after the fuel pump had already been replaced.
Rather than continuing to replace parts, our technician performed a complete diagnostic inspection. Testing showed that the fuel pump was not receiving power from the EKP fuel pump control module. Further investigation revealed that the module had not been properly coded to the vehicle.
Once the EKP module was correctly programmed, the BMW started and was back in operation.
Accurate diagnostics prevent unnecessary parts replacement. Diagnose first. Repair it correctly.
