Advisory: West Stockbridge, Becket, and Otis

Bridge and Guardrail Repair Operations on I-90

Travel will be permitted on I-90 but lane closures in place from Monday, May 16, through Friday, May 20

WEST STOCKBRIDGE/BECKET/OTIS – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing bridge joint repair and guard rail repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in West Stockbridge, Becket, and Otis. These operations will require temporary daytime and nighttime lane closures along I-90 from Monday, May 16, through Friday morning, May 20.

The daytime closures will be as follows:

Lane closure on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 2.5 on Friday, May 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The nighttime closures will be as follows:

Lane closures on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 15.0 to 21.0 from Monday, May 16, through Friday morning, May 20, starting each night at 7:00 p.m. and concluding the final morning by 5:00 a.m.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

Overnight Guardrail Repair Operations on I-90 Westbound
Overnight hour work Tuesday, April 19, through Friday morning, April 22
Lane closures will be in place; travel allowed through work zone
LEE/BECKET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight guardrail repair operations on I-90 westbound from mile marker 18.0 to mile marker 7.6 in Lee and Becket. The work will be conducted nightly from Tuesday, April 19, through Friday, April 22, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22.

The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct guardrail repair operations.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

Overnight Guardrail Repairs on I-90 Eastbound and Westbound

Work will occur from Monday, April 4, through Friday, April 8, during overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning

LEE/BECKET - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight guardrail repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Lee and Becket. The work will be conducted at various locations from Monday, April 4, through Friday, April 8, during overnight hours of 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The work is anticipated to be completed by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8.

The work will require temporary lane closures. The location and schedule for the work will be as follows:

Lee and Becket
* Guardrail repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 westbound from mile marker 10.0 to mile marker 17.0, on Monday, April 4, Tuesday, April 5, Wednesday, April 6, and Thursday, April 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

Lee
* Guardrail repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 9.0 to mile marker 11.0, on Wednesday, April 6, and on Thursday, April 7, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
