Sarah is a democrat who was told not to trust cops or republicans. Jason is a republican cop running for sheriff who was told not to trust democrats, Sarah, or Project Next. These two became friends anyway. Sarah just attended Jason's political fundraiser. There her and fellow democrat, Ellen Kelley, and Jason tried to find solutions to helping the Floyd County Youth Shelter stay open and help more youth. If we stop talking to one another because of our political differences, we stop helping our communities.
