If you're ever road-tripping through Western New York, the Mount Albion Monument is an absolute must-stop. It might not be a secret, but the history and the craftsmanship of this stone tower are incredible to see in person.
The best part is climbing that winding iron staircase right to the top for those sweeping, moody views over the treetops. 🌲☁️ It's the perfect quick adventure. 📸

New NYS Parkland along Cayuga Lake to be Named “Three Falls State Park”: EXCITING news today from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation as their recently acquired 90-acre property along Cayuga Lake will be designated as “Three Falls State Park”—this is the former Camp Barton scout property. It’s a beautiful place—one I was allowed to check out last year, 128-foot tall Frontenac Falls is among the many attractions (pictured). Let me emphasize—the new park is not yet fully open. The park will be operated by the Three Falls Local Development Corporation—a collaborative comprised of representatives from the towns of Covert, Ulysses and Village of Trumansburg. There are BIG plans for this new state park including:

* Restored camp cabins,
* New docks, kayak launches and lake access infrastructure,
* A new Nature Center and environmental education learning spaces,
* Preservation of peregrine falcon habitat,
* Rentable music and events spaces,
* An improved central restroom facility,
* New hiking trails and waterfall viewing areas,
* And a permanent 110+ space parking area.

Again, the park is not yet fully open and a timeline review will take place as progress is made on the various improvements. This is WONDERFUL news for a very special area of the Finger Lakes Region!

Welcome to the famous "Four Corners" in Palmyra, NY. This drone orbit captures something you won't see anywhere else in the United States: a church on every single corner of the intersection. It’s such a rare sight that it was even featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not! From the air, you can see the stunning architecture of all four historic buildings: the former First United Methodist (now City of God), Zion Episcopal, Western Presbyterian, and First Baptist.
Have you ever stood in the center of this historic Upstate crossroads? Let me know which of the four buildings is your favorite in the comments! 👇
