On July 3, Brother William Bolts, a member of Riordan’s first “full four-year” graduating class of 1953, passed away. In 2017, Riordan introduced a the house system and one of the houses was named in Bro. Bolts’ honor. A vigil service will be held for Bro. Bolts today at 5 PM and a funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 10 AM in Cupertino.

Riordan’s summer reading committee announced this year’s book, Randy Ribay’s “Patron Saints of Nothing.” The story follows Jay Reguero, a young Filipino-American who goes on an eye-opening trip to the Philippines. Over the course of the summer, students, faculty, staff, and parents can send us pictures of the book in various vacation spots and we’ll post them here. Read the story via link in bio.

This summer, Riordan will host Camp Crusader for 3rd-8th graders. The program features various subjects, electives, and activities. Students enrolled in the journalism elective will be part of the staff for The Squire newspaper, where they will write stories and take photos. The culmination of the program will be producing a newspaper which will be available in print and online. To check out previous issues, go to our website via the link in bio.
