📚 What if the final research paper became a digital museum exhibit instead?
That's exactly what English teacher Bayly DiPilato did at Atlantic County Institute of Technology — swapping the traditional capstone essay for a seven-week ThingLink project where students built interactive exhibits exploring inequality and justice through texts like Fahrenheit 451 and Maus.
Students were able to demonstrate deeper research skills, real digital literacy, and — in their own words — "It wasn't just another essay."
We love seeing educators use ThingLink to make rigorous academic work feel meaningful and creatively ambitious. Huge congratulations to Bayly and her students on a brilliant project — we can't wait to see how it grows next year, with QR codes set to bring these exhibits into the wider school building.
