Swat Valley:
Local people allegedly killed by people who desecrated(burnt) the Quran in Madyan a famouse tourists area of Swat Valley 60 kilometers from Mingora city on Thursday 20 June.
Angry people killed the person inside the police station later on draged (see video) and set on fire with petrol on the main road.

According to District Police Officer Dr Zahid Ullah Khan
"Alleged desecration of Holy Quran by a person from Sialkot in Madyan, local people of the area got angry and tortured, DPO added.
He also told that "In view of the public outcry, the Madyan police arrested the insolent person and transferred him to the police station. The agitated people surrounded the Madyan police station and ransacked inside the police station, said the DPO Swat. The angry protesters damaged police vehicles for not citing the accused. DPO Swat
According to local people and eye witnesses, some people announced in the market that a person has desecrated the Holy Quran, on which some people caught the person and handed him over to the police, after which announcements were made in Mosques and people reached the police station in anger. Then entered the police station and took the accused, killed him and set on fire on the road with petrol.
The angry protesters also set fire to the police mobile vehicle, which burnt down the police station and the vehicles.
As of last reports, the police fled the police station to save their lives and called for more police force to deal with the angry mob.
After the alleged incident, in addition to announcements from Mosques, announcements were also made in the bazaar through loudspeakers on the car, which enraged people.
