π¬ Saving Private Ryan 1998
THE HAUNTING MEMORIES OF WAR ARE PERFECTLY RE-REcreated IN JUST 1 MOVIE π’
Have you ever seen it? will be a movie for this weekend...
Saving Private Ryan is a 1998 American epic war film directed by Steven Spielberg. The film is set during World War II, following Captain John H. Miller and his team as they search for a new soldier, James Francis Ryan.
The film recreates the war atmosphere so realistically that many veterans were deeply moved and had to leave the theater, even though the film only showed the opening scene. In addition, a scene that left a deep impression on the audience was the scene at Omaha Beach, everything was considered to be recreated too vividly.
After the film, the number of veterans who went to see psychologists for advice on PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) also increased significantly. The US Department of Veterans Affairs even had to set up a hotline to promptly support veterans who suffered from psychological trauma after watching Saving Private Ryan.
