Another one of my favorite moments from this past Suwannee Spring Reunion. I asked the band Tire Fire what festivals like this meant to them and each had their own answer that I'm hoping to share but I felt like I should start with Arrie Bozeman's because this is so true!

I've met so many incredible songwriters roaming the festival campsites and playing music till the break of dawn. If you'd like to see the full episode, leave me a comment and I'll send you the goods! Thank you again to Tire Fire for being on the show!

Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Tire Fire at Suwannee Spring Reunion. They were fresh off their first amphitheater set, and the energy they brought back to my campsite was radiant and inspiring! After our interview, they were gracious enough to play a couple of originals right there in my campsite.

It was a sight to see the festival family quite literally wandering out of the woods, drawn in by those soaring harmonies and the raw, genuine way this band moves together.I feel lucky to capture these intimate, candid moments. This particular song was written by Arrie Bozeman and performed here with Tire Fire. Lean back and enjoy!

It’s like trying to take a picture of the moon... πŸŒ™βœ¨

Back in March, I caught up with the Tire Fire crew at my campsite at Suwannee Spring Reunion, and they are officially "expanding the lexicon" of what music can be.

They brought the chaos (the fun kind) and harmony to the campsite for one of my favorite conversations yet. We talked about:

πŸ”₯ Doom Cocoon: How MF Doom and Outkast influence high-speed banjo picking.
πŸ”₯ Why David Bowie was part of the vibe for their high-energy dance tent set.
πŸ”₯ Distance & Grit: How they keep the music and productivity alive while creating across Florida and Georgia state lines.
πŸ”₯ Imposter Syndrome: Why the only way through the "beautiful anxiety" of performing is to never quit!

Tire Fire is proof that the Suwannee campgrounds are the ultimate incubator for roots music. Thanks to Tire Fire for being on the show and all the folks, especially My Happy Ass Life and Panama City Comedy, who donated to my rental car fund and made it possible for me to get to Suwannee Spring Reunion to capture stories like this.
