Another perfect evening at the St. Andrew’s State Park Pier. This time the sky lit up in oranges and blues, with streaks of clouds and scattered spatters adding depth. The wet sand mirrored it all, turning the shoreline into a canvas of color. 🌅🌊

This family of four soaked up every moment, and here’s a tighter shot for those who love seeing the smiles and connection up close. While most of our clients are tourists who want the full “we’re at the beach” vibe (so we include wide angles!), we also make sure to get plenty of closer portraits so families can hold onto these personal memories forever. 💛

Too often, I see new photographers jumping in without contracts, using free websites that don’t offer real convenience, or messaging potential clients through personal profiles. 🚩 This isn’t just unprofessional—it signals desperation and hurts the whole industry.

A few things to watch for:
✅ Contracts: Protect both you and your clients. It’s not just paperwork, it’s trust.
✅ Booking systems: Professional photographers have streamlined ways to book and pay, often with secure payment processing and installment options. 💳
✅ Respectful marketing: Spamming DMs or forcing clients to private chat is a red flag. 🚫 Real pros build trust publicly and transparently.
✅ Pricing: Undercharging damages the market. Beginner rates don’t pay bills and create false expectations. 💸 Quality work deserves quality pricing.
