The heart of Historic Downtown PC. 💛

A fire broke out at a local restaurant this weekend and before help could arrive, a nearby downtown employee acted fast protecting the building and the surrounding block. Moments like these remind us: it’s not just about the place, it’s about the people who care for it.

At this morning’s City Commission meeting, Commissioner Robbie Hughes honored Bennett “Kelso” Sauers for his quick and heroic response in putting out the fire at Ferrucci Ristorante over the weekend. Kelso received a commemorative City coin for his bravery, and the Harbisons, owners of Ferrucci, attended to personally thank him and present a special gift.
