No two bodies heal the same way, and recovery should never be treated as a one-size-fits-all process!
The care you need in the first weeks after surgery, childbirth, or another major physical change may be completely different from what your body needs months later.
That is why every session begins by looking at where you are in your recovery, how your tissues are responding, what symptoms or limitations you are experiencing, and what your body is ready for at that moment.
For some clients, the priority may be lymphatic drainage to support swelling and comfort. For others, the focus may gradually shift toward scar and tissue mobility, fascial restrictions, abdominal mobility, breathing mechanics, compression or taping, and a more progressive return to movement.
The technique should evolve as your body evolves.
My approach is not about repeating the same massage on every client. It is about understanding the stage of recovery, respecting the healing process, and selecting the techniques that make sense for your individual needs.
Because specialized care is not simply about what technique is used. It is about knowing when, why, and how to use it. 🤍
If you are looking for individualized support during your recovery, send me a message to learn more about which approach may be right for you.
