The City of Papillion will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Papillion City Park renovation on Monday, June 23, at 1 p.m., located at the corner of 84th (Washington) and Lincoln streets. The public is invited to attend.
Papillion City Park improvements will include:
- Improved paved trail network of 8- to 10-foot-wide trails
- New playground area
- New stage and shelter for picnics and performances
- Seating areas, large swings and hammocks
- Nature trail
- Improved parking and traffic flow
- A grand entrance to the park at the corner of Washington and Lincoln Street
The project is expected to be completed by Papillion Days 2026.
