Jungo Road, as of 8/16/26. The sign, just off of the intersection of 447 and 49 indicates the road not being maintained the next nearly 2 and 1/2 mi. However, I think it was more like 15 mi because it took me 2 hours to get through that stretch at probably an average speed of 15 mph, often dropping down to 10 mph. As my video shows, the road was very rocky and washboarding. If you are driving a vehicle that has suspension issues, I would highly recommend that you skip this route to get to burning Man this year. If you decide to take this way, I would recommend that you have at least a spare set of tires on you and water and food in case you get stranded. Also, The cell reception is not good in this area. I would also recommend that you have four-wheel drive capabilities and all-terrain tires if you take this route! It was a beautiful day, although very hot, (mid 90s) and I could see burners had already arrived to set up camps. Stay until the end of the video and you'll be able to see it. Thanks for watching!
