The NBA could be Vegas next. 🏀

🏒 Golden Knights owner Bill Foley announced Monday he is launching a bid to bring an NBA franchise to Las Vegas, which would be the city’s first NBA team

📋 It follows the NBA voting in late March to explore expansion only in Las Vegas and Seattle

💰 Offers in the process are expected to land between $7 billion and $10 billion

🏟️ Foley plans for the team to play at T-Mobile Arena, which holds about 18,000 for basketball

🤝 He has hired Morgan Stanley and a law firm that worked on the Nets and Spurs deals

📍 Open now as of today, Tuesday June 9, at BLVD Las Vegas right on the Strip

🪑 Seats 170 guests indoors plus 50 on the outdoor patio
📐 Around 8,000 square feet, one of the largest In-N-Outs anywhere

🤝 The Primm family has signed a deal with Terrible's, owned by the Herbst family, to take over operations and keep the town open
💼 The agreement saves more than 300 jobs at the Primm Valley Casino Resort, Oasis Apartments and The Lotto Store
📅 Previous operators Affinity Gaming and Z Capital announced on May 5 they planned to close everything after nearly 15 years
🏜️ The Primm family has owned land and businesses here since the 1950s
⚖️ Terrible's still needs Nevada gaming approval, with a special hearing set for June 25

🏁 The Las Vegas Grand Prix is staying on the Strip through 2037 after a new 10 year extension
🤝 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Clark County, and the LVCVA all signed on for the long term deal
💰 The event has delivered $3.2 billion in economic impact for Southern Nevada since 2023
🏛️ In 2025 alone the race generated $43 million in state and local tax revenue
🏫 That included $15 million set aside to support local K-12 education
🎟️ All three races from 2023 through 2025 sold out
📅 This year the race runs November 21 on the 3.8 mile Strip circuit
A full decade more of race week is officially on the books.
