Today was one for the summer memory books at Buck Brook Alpacas 🤍🦙

This was our second time visiting & we had such a special day 🥰

From taking a beautiful walk with Itty Bitty & Trinity to meeting sheep, bunnies, llamas, so many alpacas, kitties & ducks on the farm we made so many new friends & learned so much about each along the way. 🐑🐰🦙🐈‍⬛🦆

My kids loved having a chance to get up close with the alpacas, they were so sweet & gentle (both the alpacas & my kids 😂)

We were very excited to meet a baby alpaca born this morning! As well as one born this past weekend. 🤍

My kids are already planning their next visit 🚘 I highly recommend adding Buck Brook Alpacas to your roadtrip list & planning a visit for your family next time you’re headed to Sullivan Catskills 🗺️🧭

The way my kids love our cats 🥹🐾🤍

They adore them, love helping take care of them and are always ready for a cuddle. I think my favorite part is seeing how much the cats trust them and love being with them too. 🐈‍⬛

They were my first babies, and now I get to watch my kids love them just as much as I do. 🤍

A game where my kids are actually encouraged to work together instead of against each other? That’s a win in my book. 🐞🙌

Our latest MindWare Curiosity Crew find is Snug as a Bug in a Rug from Peaceable Kingdom , a colorful cooperative game that had both kids jumping right in and helping each other.

Made for ages 3+ and 2–4 players, everyone works together to match the colorful bugs and get them under the rug before three stink bugs take over. There are three different levels of play, so you can adjust the challenge based on age and ability and keep coming back to it as your littles grow.

It’s a fun way to work on matching, colors, numbers, shapes, taking turns and teamwork while still feeling like play. Easy to pull out at home and a great one to bring along for some entertainment on the go, too!

The stink bugs won this round, but we’ll definitely be trying again. 😂🐞

Where’s Waldo? 🔎❤️ We took on The Great Ridgewood Chase and it turned into one of the highlights of our summer!

We headed into downtown Ridgewood for Super Sidewalk Saturday with one big mission: find Waldo at all 18 participating local businesses. 🕵🏻🕵🏻‍♂️

What followed was a full day of exploring, shopping, eating and discovering so many of the local businesses that make Ridgewood such a fun place to spend the day as a family.

Along the way, there was even more for the kids to enjoy. We stopped for sensory play with Busy Bin Kids , got a braid with Rumi at Ridgewood Sweet and Sassy , had face painting with TLE Paramus , visited Goldfish - Wyckoff Goldfish - Closter , browsed the sidewalk sales, listened to live music, checked out vendors and, of course, grabbed coffee from one of our favorites, Haus Café / Zen Haus ☕️🎶

And all while searching for Waldo at:

The kids were completely invested in finding every Waldo, and seeing them so excited to make it to all 18 stops was such a fun part of the day.

And then came the biggest surprise. ❤️

They won the special Waldo prize basket from Bookends AND a Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce prize! 🎉 They were absolutely thrilled.

More than anything, I loved how this event gave us a reason to spend the day walking through town, popping into businesses we already love, discovering new ones and supporting local together.

Thank you to all of the participating businesses, Bookends Bookstore and especially the The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce for creating such a fun family experience and bringing so much energy to downtown Ridgewood!

A full week of KidStrong Waldwick camp and these two had the BEST time! 😎💛

They spent the week running, climbing, learning, challenging themselves and making new friends, but one of my favorite parts was seeing their confidence grow as the week went on. 🥹

They were so proud of what they could do, came home excited to tell me about their day, and definitely left the week a little stronger than they started. 💪🏼

KidStrong Waldwick is a locally family-owned business with such a great team, and they offer so much beyond camp, with programs designed to help kids build confidence, strength and skills while having a whole lot of fun along the way.

One of the standout highlights of our July was the New Jersey Content Creators Association, LLC Summer Social at Claremont Distillery✨🥃

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Sussex County, NJ’s Best Craft Spirits Experience is peaceful, beautifully designed, and incredibly welcoming. The newly renovated entertainment space opens seamlessly into the serene outdoor grounds, creating an effortless flow that is perfect for weddings, milestone celebrations, private events, corporate gatherings, and special occasions. It is the kind of venue that immediately leaves you imagining your own celebration there. ✨

The distillery tour with owner Tim Koether was a favorite part of our afternoon. We loved learning more about Claremont’s history, stepping behind the scenes, and seeing where every one of their spirits is made onsite. 🥃

The event brought together an inspiring mix of New Jersey creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses, with thoughtful touches woven throughout the entire afternoon including:
