[8/26 6:45 AM] It will be hot with isolated showers/storms today (10-30%). The fire threat will be lower due to cloud cover & lighter winds, but continue to take caution to avoid sparking a wildfire! Smoke from ongoing fires will continue to reduce visibility in some areas.

The heat will back off some late week with isolated storms possible again tomorrow (Thursday). Highs will mostly be in the upper 90s to near 100 through early next week with a few spots up to 103 degrees.
