At the age of 37, kingston Brown decided it was now or never to chase his longtime goal of earning his place in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

This will be his second attempt to join the Green Berets and he likes his chances.

Kingston Brown has reenlisted in the army with the goal to wear the green beret of the U.S. Special Forces.

A “do not use water order” has been put in effect by West Paris Water District due to the pump failure.

Walmart has donated bottled water to customers of the West Paris Water District. Distribution is being coordinated by Town Manager Joy Downing and Oxford County Emergency Management Agency and will be available at the town garage starting Wednesday at 8 a.m.

The problem peaks during the late afternoons and early evenings, according to Oxford Police Chief Rickie Jack. In some cases heavy summer traffic on routes 118 and 26 through Norway, Paris and Oxford spurs locals to take shortcuts around it by using side roads with lower speed zones.
