UPDATE - The left lane of I-55 has reopened as of 4:30 p.m.

KFMO NEWS ALERT - A vehicle crash has shut down I-55 northbound in Jefferson County. The closure is just south of the I-55/Highway 67 interchange. Authorities estimate that the closure will last until 5 p.m. Motorists should expect slowdowns on the southbound side as well. Stay tuned to KFMO News for updates.
