Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these individuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of Park Ridge, IL. There is no better way for a business to secure long-term success than to make the right connections.

Rick and Megan are raising George, Craig, Henry, Margot, and baby Owen while making the most of everything Park Ridge has to offer, from youth sports to neighborhood gatherings. 🏡

This St. Paul of the Cross second grader is spending his summer swimming, playing baseball, heading to sports camps, and enjoying family time at the lake house in Arkansas. His perfect day includes wakeboarding, outdoor fun, and ending the night around a fire with family and friends. 🏕️

Jay also shared some of his favorite local spots, including Oberweis for ice cream and Centennial Pool for summer swimming fun. 🏊

STROLL Park Ridge was so proud to sponsor and be part of Walking for Avenues this past Saturday. Seeing more than 400 people come together to celebrate, connect, and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities was a powerful reminder of what makes this community so amazing!

Together, the Avenues community raised an incredible $96,000!!….and that is something truly worth celebrating. 🎉

Avenues to Independence has been changing lives since 1953, when a group of Park Ridge parents came together with a powerful vision: to create opportunities, support, and community for their children with developmental disabilities. More than 70 years later, that mission continues — and Park Ridge continues to show up in a big way.

Thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, families, friends, and neighbors who showed up with such heart. We were honored to walk alongside you. 💙

Congratulations to the Park Ridge Warriors 10U Blue Team on their tournament championship win, Maine South students competing at state fashion events, and all the incredible organizations creating opportunities for local families and kids. ⚾

From Kiwanis mental health kits to Rainbow for All Children’s Celebrate Me Day and neighborhood gatherings throughout town, Park Ridge continues to lead with heart and connection. 💛
