Update #7 at 3:34PM: All customers should be restored. If for some reason you are still experiencing an outage, please call 304-420-2470.

Update #6 at 1:00PM: We are starting to see some customers restored. Our crews are still working to get all customers back online.

Update #5 at 11:23am: Crews are still working on repairing the burned fiber. This outage is taking longer than normal because it is in a very remote location (see picture below) and there are several trees down in the problem area.

Update #4: Some of the areas in Jackson County that were affected by the burnt fiber are still off.
General service areas that are off include the following:
Parts of Millwood
Woodruff Acres
Evans
Ripley
Sandyville
Kenna
Goldtown
Mt. Alto
Flatrock
Fairplain

The longhaul fiber between Charleston and PKB is also down. This affects the local broadcast channels that originate out of Charleston and a handful of other channels.

Crews are still working to restore all services.

Update #3: Storm damage caused fiber lines to be destroyed/down in our coverage area. Our crew is still out working trying to replace burnt fiber. Replacing fiber is tedious and can take sometime. We apologize for the service interruptions, but we are working as fast as possible to get all customers back online.

We are very sad to announce that tomorrow’s kickball tournament is canceled. This is out of an abundance of caution due to field conditions, recent flooding, and the forecast. We have 109 players signed up so we will have the tournament next year or hopefully, even sooner. We apologize for the inconvenience. This was a decision by the whole Kickball Committee.
