This is a great set of headphones for mixing and mastering, but be sure to get the 32 ohm version, which has less harshness in the 10 kHz area. My favorite headphones currently (I say currently because one's ears change over time) are the Blue Mix-Fi or Mo-Fi headphones. Everyone is different, but for me, when I mix/master with the Blue's, as well as my Yamaha NS-10's, the mixes sound great on other speaker systems, earbuds, and headphones.
