Season 21 will be here soon. I want to get some things cleared up before the Season starts.

1. Do you guys want cheap entry fees and low payouts at my Regionals? Or higher entry fees with higher payouts?

2. I'm considering different entry fees for different Memberships.

$60 Membership: Cheapest entry fee.
$30 Membership: Little higher entry fee.
Free Membership: The most expensive entry fee.

(Please select me as your Director when purchasing your Membership)

3. I only took out my ACO fee plus $5 per Division last season. That definitely wasn't enough to cover my personal WiFi bill, all new tablets, and time to do this stuff for you all. I'm really considering changing payouts to a % of entry fees. But, how much is too much? I remember in 2015, Regionals didn't payout at all. Everyone paid $10 entry fee just for their points. And I think that's majority of what people want....points towards World rankings?

I want input from you guys again. If you don't let me know what you think, I'm just going to run it the way I feel like. Then no one can complain. 🤷‍♂️

Some guys aren't afraid to drop $30 - $60 entry fees for ACL Regionals. And directors take 20% or more for themselves. Rightfully so! This stuff isn't easy and isn't cheap.

Feel free to post comments here or in messenger. You can even send me your thoughts on my personal messenger. (Ted Dillon)

Not sure if you want the Free membership or the Worlds Membership ($60)?

Besides the 500 bonus points for the Worlds Membership, here is what you'll pay in entry fees if you plan to go to a Major. Only two Majors will pay for the Worlds Membership alone if you just play Singles. If you play Doubles too, you'll save money at one Major.

Please use my name as Director. Thank you!

Okay folks! We are getting closer to Season XXI! 🎉

📢 Long post

If you're planning to play this upcoming season, you gotta follow these directions. If you have questions, please reach out to me.

I'm waiting for the Major schedule to come out later this week (or next) before I schedule my Regionals so I don't schedule them the same weekend as a close Major.

NEW this Season are three Levels of memberships. I'm attaching a picture too.

FREE: $0. Pay higher entry fees and only eligible for prizes, trophies, and points.

Player: $30. Same as the Free membership, but cheaper entry fees.

Worlds: $60. Deeper discount entry fees, eligible for prizes, points, trophies, plus more. And....500 Bonus points! (Remember, ACO tournaments are seeded by points. So, 500 bonus points are important.

How to purchase your Membership:

* Everything will be on Scoreholio this Season. I'm not sure about my Regionals yet. But Memberships, Major tickets, and Worlds tickets will be.

1) Click and follow the link. https://seasons.scoreholio.com/co****le/rankings?season=9F6cAxEmXsH6lf0BMa5N&page=membership&fbclid=IwQ0xDSwL-8DljbGNrAv7wMmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEe4IMMCOWOrEIuArwUDvCjTIOgmftLCJGmaTE9sqf-Y4w6uvx2OnMWek7gDao_aem_rGD--abRDLA22XZdbHT7lw

2) Go down to "Sign up/Purchase Membership.

3) Type in your Scoreholio email. (Thats very important)

4) Select Membership Level. ($0, $30, $60)

5) Next, go down to Referred by. This is where you scroll down until you find my name. (Ted Dillon) Select my name please!

6) Fill out the rest of the form with Name, Address, Phone number, etc. Click Continue.

7) After that, it'll take you to payment.

Again, watch this page for my Regional schedule. I'll post it after I figure out what dates I can use the Marietta Elks Lodge #477. I might also run some Regionals at the City Park until the weather gets bad.

Some of you know, some of you dont. But, we had a guy suddenly pass away at work recently. And another guy is retiring in November. My work schedule is really hectic right now. We have to cover the vacancies with OT until we get new guys in there and trained. I might schedule a Regional, thinking I'll be off that day, but then be told later I have to work and will have to cancel at last minute.

This reminds me. I'd love to have a CO-Director this Season. We are allowed to have as many as we want. I think it costs you $100? If you're interested in helping me, I'll get more details for you. Directors get to enter the FREE Directors tournament at the Worlds too. This year was a 6 Round Switch. With payouts! I went 5-1. 😁 Anyway, if someone can help me this Season, I might not have to cancel any Regionals and could possibly run more Regionals for players to earn more points. I will walk you through everything. If you already run tournaments on Scoreholio, you will not have any problems running ACO Regionals.

I can't say this enough. I'd love to get as many of our Rivers EDGE Co****le friends, and others to play this Season. With the Worlds within driving distance this Season, it'll be a lot of fun for our group. Please consider playing. 🙏

Again, if you have any questions, reach out to me on here or text/call. I'll answer to best of my knowledge or I'll find out through the ACO and get back with you.

I'd like to have another text group so I can keep players in the loop easier than just doing it on here. If you want in my ACO text group, send me a text with your name at 304.483.8940.

Thanks everyone!

Sorry for the long post. 🤷‍♂️

I know I keep bringing it up, but I'd love to get more of our Rivers EDGE Co****le group playing ACO next season. (Starts this September) The Worlds for Season XXI will be in Owensboro, KY. 5-6hr drive. I'd love nothing more than to pack our vehicles and hang out with everyone for that week. Doing what we all love. Throwing bags! Show the world what Rivers EDGE is all about! 💪

My Regionals are cheap! $10 player. I just want enough to cover my fees to the ACO. Rest goes to payouts. If you guys would rather have a higher entry fee, with higher payouts, let me know. I assumed the goal was to get our points as cheap as possible to qualify for the Worlds. 🤷‍♂️

We're planning to hit up a few Majors this season too. Majors are a lot of fun! Little bit of info on Majors. In singles or doubles, you're placed in a pool with pros and Joes. You can upset a pro and go on to the Main bracket. (I love that part of it) If you don't win your pool, you'll be placed in a Tier (2-5) based on your record and/or PPR. (I forget which it is now? Major Tiers last year were by PPR. World Tiers were by record. I think?)

I'm hearing rumors the ACO will have an option for a FREE membership this season. But...you won't be able to play in Majors or Worlds unless you have a World Membership. That'll be $50 again I think.

Juniors. (18 and younger) I want as many kids to play as possible! Their entry is FREE for Regionals and Majors. How cool is that? Jett struggled to get enough points last season to qualify for the Worlds.

I talked to Marietta Elks Lodge #477. We are allowed to play there still. My Regionals are 1-3 times a month. Not every week. They're okay with that. I will be taking pictures of the walls before the tournament starts, and then afterwards. If you are caught hitting a walls, leaning your foot against the walls, anything to damage the walls...I will notify the manager and you will be required to repair your damages. And you will not be allowed back. We gotta respect their property. They allow us to play for free. Don't screw it up!

I'm planning to run a few Regionals outside at the City Park in Parkersburg until the weather gets too cold. Probably Sunday afternoons? Nothing set in stone on that yet.

I'll have more information on Season XXI soon I hope so everyone can purchase their membership before the season starts.

Let's have fun and show Kentucky what our Rivers EDGE group is all about next July! 🍻

Would you guys play in an outdoor (but covered) Regional?

I'm considering running a few from September through October or until the weather get's bad at the City Park horseshoe shelter. There's a roof over the whole playing area. Probably be on Sunday afternoons.

Day 2:

We couldn't play in the blind draw because it overlapped the bring your own partner blind draw Quads. We wanted to play in it more than just the blind draw. So we went with that.

We ended up 3rd out of 40 teams.

Off to bed for a full day of Seniors and Juniors tomorrow. Hoping our luck continues! 🤞
