This just works for me, so I'm going to pass it on. If you're cleaning and need to pack stuff to take to a thrift store or Goodwill, a laundry basket can be your best friend! I bought several of these at a Goodwill store cheap, so I could load things up in them and then take them to a thrift store. They empty the laundry basket and give it back to me. I can't tell you how many times I've loaded these up and gotten rid of stuff - it's so easy with the handles; carry it right to my car and away it goes!!! Happy decluttering, everybody! πŸ‘šπŸŽ½πŸ‘—πŸ§¦πŸ§ΈπŸ’ΌπŸ‘ŸπŸ‘ πŸ‘’πŸ₯½πŸ“šβœοΈ

Usually I'm in my gardening clothes, buttttt... Wedding dress done with 5 days to spare!!! From a broken arm to restarting the bodice, this has been the most difficult thing I've ever made (also my first-ever wearable)! I'm literally shaking as I type this because three months ago I thought my wedding was going to be ruined, and now I'm staring at this dress that somehow exists despite everything that went wrong. When my fiancΓ© proposed, I had this romantic vision of finding the perfect vintage dress, something ethereal and unique that didn't cost a fortune. But after months of shopping, everything felt wrong - too expensive, too generic, or just not 'me.' That's when my future mother-in-law suggested I make my own dress, and I laughed because I'd never made anything more complicated than a scarf. But something about the idea stuck. I started researching crochet wedding dresses online, completely overwhelmed by the intricate patterns and delicate work involved. Then I found this incredible artist on Tedooo app who specializes in custom bridal crochet. She didn't just sell patterns - she walked me through every step, adjusted techniques for my skill level, and even video-called with me when I got stuck on complicated sections. Everything was going perfectly until six weeks ago when I slipped on ice and broke my dominant arm. Sitting in the emergency room with a cast up to my elbow, I cried harder about the dress than the pain. All those hours of work, the wedding just two months away, and now I couldn't even hold a crochet hook properly. That's when the Tedooo community really showed up. When I posted about my situation, this amazing woman messaged me, offering to finish the bodice remotely. She had me ship her my work-in-progress along with detailed measurements, and somehow managed to perfectly match my tension and style. Meanwhile, other crafters sent encouragement and tips for crocheting one-handed once my cast came off. The bodice she sent back was more beautiful than anything I could have created myself, but it was clearly made with love by someone who understood what this dress meant. When my cast finally came off two weeks ago, I had just enough time to complete the train and add the final details. Last night I tried it on for the final fitting, and my mom cried seeing me in something I'd created with my own hands - well, mostly my own hands and a lot of help from incredible strangers who became friends. The intricate lacework that seemed impossible three months ago now feels like a map of everything I learned about myself during this process. I keep thinking about how this dress represents more than just my wedding day. It's proof that when life breaks your plans, sometimes the community you didn't even know existed will help you rebuild something even more beautiful than what you originally imagined. Five more days until I walk down the aisle wearing every stitch of this journey on my body, and I honestly can't wait to see the woman who saved my wedding when I thought all hope was lost.

I got divorced 6 months ago and I'm trying to make my old, dreary house look new to me so I can start my life over. It's a bilevel and I haven't cleaned it up since fall, so please excuse the fall and Christmas decor. Any suggestions? Cheap to expensive ideas are helpful.

What paint color? ETA: The sink is staying put, as it's an incredibly small bathroom and I wanted to maximize the available counter space. The chevron counter is also staying; we have it in our other homes and it holds up really well. I remodeled my half bath and need paint color ideas. I was thinking a woodsy wallpaper on the leftmost wall, but the bathroom is so small I'd be concerned about making it even smaller. The finishes are gold/brass. The floor is a black/gray marble. There's lots of wood in the rest of the house. Kind of trendy cabin vibes.

My friends and I went out for dinner and left a $20 tip on a $250 bill. The waiter didn't take it well, telling us we shouldn't be eating out if we can't afford to tip at least 50%. Now we're wondering if $20 isn't really enough. That $20 was all the extra we had...

My daughter likes her regal girl room. The blue walls and pink/cream carpet are staying. She isn't a fan of the pattern on the floral fabric on the bed crown valance, which is also on her upholstered headboard and bed spread. She's very girly and would like to continue with the French country vibe, but she'd like the fabrics to be light blue and cream options. Also, I don't know what to do for side tables, lights, or if a chair could be added. Please help.
