Bond has been set for the Columbus, Mississippi woman accused of killing her husband on Facebook Live. Kadejah Brown was charged with murder after the Saturday morning shooting at the Greentree Apartments. Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said Brown and her husband, 28-year-old Jeremy Brown, had been arguing for most of the night. He stated Jeremy Brown was trying to leave the apartment and defuse the situation before being shot. The whole incident was being played out live on Facebook. Deputies recovered a handgun, along with a shell casing. Coroner Greg Merchant said an autopsy is scheduled for Jeremy Brown. Hawkins said this is an active and ongoing investigation.

A former school worker is accused of stealing $1.5 million (£1.21 million) worth of food, most of which was chicken wings, in a bizarre embezzlement scheme. Vera Liddle, 66, allegedly ordered thousands of wings through the school district purse - but stole them in a van. She was arrested after a routine audit showed the food service department - which she was a director of - had overspent by $300,000 just halfway through the school year, prosecutors said.

Ms Liddell was employed by the Harvey School District 152 and held the title of Director of Food Services.

School districts are areas in which multiple schools are located in close proximity.

Ms Liddell allegedly placed orders of over 11,000 cases of chicken wings.

She is now being held on a $150,000 bond and is due to appear in court on February 22.

The alleged fraud scheme began during the COVID-19 pandemic when the school district had reportedly contunued to provide meals for students, which their families could pick up. 🤔 😳

Two Illinois EMS workers charged with murder in death of patient strapped facedown on stretcher.

A resident in his home told police he was suffering hallucinations from alcohol withdrawal.

According to his obituary, Moore was a manager at Mcdonald’s for 18 years.

A female paramedic instructed Moore to walk to the ambulance, but body camera video, also released Tuesday, showed he “was not able to walk and the medical personnel were not offering any assistance,” police said.

Finley and Cadigan were arrested and booked into the Sangamon County Jail on a $1 million bond.
