Brisket on a cupcake sounds crazy… but it works and was absolutely delicious!

They’re only available from 11–2pm and they sell out daily (through March 22), so if you want one you better plan it right 🔥

And if brisket isn’t your vibe, they’re also Rodeo Ready with churro cupcakes, cotton candy cupcakes, and rodeo confetti. I personally LOVED the churro flavored cupcake. Make sure to try them!

Love when food meets purpose ✨

Had the best time at the Heart & Soul Culinary Scholarship Dinner today. Six chefs, six courses, and so much talent in one room. Every bite truly felt like it meant something.

So grateful invited me 🫶🏽 and such a sweet surprise running into the wonderful there too!

Carne Guisada en salsa verde con 💖✨

For this guisado I wanted a juicy, flavorful cut with good marbling, and Nolan Ryan Beef is the brand I trust 🥩 They have a great variety of high-quality cuts that work perfectly for slow-simmered meals like this, and it’s available exclusively at Kroger!

Recipe:
-Nolan Ryan Beef top sirloin or skirt steak (honestly, any cut works)
-Tomatillos verdes
-Jalapeño
-Cebolla
-Cilantro

Sear the meat first. Blend the tomatillos, jalapeño, cebolla, and cilantro until smooth. Pour the sauce over the meat and let it simmer until fully cooked and tender. Serve with your choice of tortillas bbbbut harina is better 😉

99¢ tacos ✨⬇️

I was hungry, so you already know where I went 🌮 99¢ tacos at El Rancho never fail. I always grab four: fajita, chicken, chicharrón con salsa, and pastor — with an horchata. Just be careful… that salsa does not play 🔥

This is honestly my favorite lunch move. I knock out lunch, grab something sweet from the panadería, pick up produce, stop by the carnicería, and I’m done. One stop, everything handled.

Make sure to stop by!
