The World Cup is happening in the United States... and it honestly feels like most people don’t even know it’s here.

For an event that’s supposed to showcase some of the biggest soccer countries in the world, where’s the excitement? Where’s the buzz? Where are the packed streets, conversations, and anticipation?

The World Cup should feel impossible to ignore. If the host country can’t create that atmosphere, maybe it’s time to give future tournaments to places where the passion and hype naturally take over every corner of the country.
