With the recent snowfall, we want to reach out to our local community. If there are any families or elderly residents in the Bayside Beach or Poplar Ridge areas who need help with snow removal, please contact us.

We are offering this service at no cost as a way to support our neighbors. If you know someone in need, please email [email protected] and share this post so it reaches those who could use a helping hand.

Good luck to U.S. Navy Cmdr. Jon Dowling. The Pasadena native will compete for Team Navy in the Department of Defense Warrior Games Challenge from July 18-26 at Colorado College in Colorado Springs.

More than 250 seriously wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans will represent the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force and U.S. Special Operations Command during the nine-day competition.

Dowling will compete in archery, cycling, precision air sports and wheelchair basketball.

Last month, the Bucs Crystals learned that they won a global championship. The 8U Buccaneers Cheerleading team hit record competition scores this season as well as outscoring older age groups and higher-leveled competitive cheer teams in multiple states. They are the first 8U team from Buccaneers Cheerleading to make it to the global finals. Congrats to the girls and their four Pasadena coaches: Skylar Jones, Jackie Socoby, Melody Blueford and Paige Wood.
