There is something about a lit window at night that makes strangers feel less like strangers.

Night Taco, 2022, is part of Synchronicities — a series exploring the tension between detachment and connection. Random moments, non-correlated, yet quietly, unmistakably linked.

A late night scene in Old Pasadena — an echo of Hopper’s Nighthawks, rendered in infrared. Strangers gathered under light, the city dark around them. Through an altered spectrum, what might have passed as an unremarkable corner of the night becomes suspended, luminous, and quietly alive.

Now showing at MOAH:Cedar ( ), Lancaster CA through July 19th.

Nothing connects us quite like the things we leave behind.

Still Here, 2024, is part of Synchronicities — a series exploring the tension between detachment and connection. Random moments, non-correlated, yet quietly, unmistakably linked.

A shopping cart at rest. Unnoticed. Unclaimed. And yet — still here. Through infrared, what the eye dismisses, the camera recovers. An altered spectrum that reveals what was always present in things we had already decided not to see.

Showing at MOAH:Cedar (), Lancaster CA starting June 6th. Opening reception is from 2-8pm.

Audience — and what remains after the crowd has gone.

This image was made outside a concert hall — two stacks of empty ballroom chairs leaning against a grand limestone wall, a lantern still burning into the quiet.

I’ve always been drawn to the aftermath of gathering — the objects that hold the shape of people long after they’ve left.

I’m honored to share that Audience has been selected as a Foto of the Day by Fotografiska Emerging, and is being featured today as a dedicated artist collaboration on .emerging.

Fields of pink and red in Sonoma, California — photographed using infrared-sensitive imaging, where light beyond human vision transforms familiar landscapes into something dreamlike and suspended.

Meadows (2023) and Field of Red (2023) from the Infrared Dreams series.

Exploring perception, memory, and the emotional atmosphere of place through altered landscapes and color.
