There is something about a lit window at night that makes strangers feel less like strangers.
Night Taco, 2022, is part of Synchronicities — a series exploring the tension between detachment and connection. Random moments, non-correlated, yet quietly, unmistakably linked.
A late night scene in Old Pasadena — an echo of Hopper’s Nighthawks, rendered in infrared. Strangers gathered under light, the city dark around them. Through an altered spectrum, what might have passed as an unremarkable corner of the night becomes suspended, luminous, and quietly alive.
