Doing drums tomorrow with my new set up in 8. APIs for kick, snr and toms. Helios and neve for cymbals, summit audio for overheads and a custom mod I made for rooms. Not pictured a real 1176 to pair with the warm version. Super excited by this. And the band should be too. This is going to sound killer. Channeling my inner Albini.

Had a great photoshoot with last week. Though I wasn’t the star of the photoshoot playing this stingray made me feel so. I have always been a fan of the musicman and I’d love to have a couple of these hanging around at the studio for all my recordings. Check out their new 2025 line. They feel fantastic to play.

This guitar isn’t just special. To me it’s legendary. My grandfather whom I never met got it for my mother in the 60’s. To the best of knowledge my Mother only learned three chords. E D and A, which allows her to play Gloria. While my mother is a very good pianist she didn’t see the need to learn other songs on the guitar. This guitar became mine at age ten and my brother and I learned how to play the mash theme song on it. At twelve music took its hold in me and I started writing my own music on this guitar. To this day out of every peice of gear I have ever owned, played or dream
