Are people talking way too much at raves now? 😭

I’m all for catching up with your friends, meeting new people, and having a good time… but sometimes it feels like the entire crowd is having a full conversation during the set.

At what point does it go from socializing to straight-up yapping? 😂

Do we actually have a yapper problem, or are people just noticing it more now?

There are certain festival moments you never forget, and this is one of mine.

EDC Las Vegas 2015. Eric Prydz closes his set with a track nobody in that crowd had heard before.

That track was “Opus.”

I remember standing there watching that insanely slow build keep climbing and climbing, not really knowing where it was going… and then it finally opened up. It was one of those moments where the entire crowd just felt locked in together.

Years later, “Opus” became one of the defining tracks of Prydz’s career, but that night we were hearing it for the very first time.

I wish I could experience this moment again without knowing what was coming.

How I wish I could go back and relive Monster Massive one more time. 🎃

Before Escape, and before so many of the festivals we have now, Monster Massive was THE Halloween event of the year in SoCal. The energy, the crowd, the Sports Arena era… it was just different.

And in 2009, Armin van Buuren was absolutely throwing it down while trance ruled the world.

Who else was there for this one? 🥹🔥
