Today I got picked up by two wonderful friends and got to tag along and explore the town of Sonoma!

It was the first trip taking my new electric scooter and that town was beyond accessible!
As a disabled person it feels great when businesses make the attempt to accommodate as much as possible. It's appreciated! I can't wait to come back and explore some more! I felt like I barely scratched the surface of this town! So much history and beauty!

It felt great to Go off-road and check out some tourist attractions! Not to brag, but I also had the best brisket of my life!

I'm very grateful for the wonderful people in my life who have helped me throughout the years! You all rock! With me, it definitely takes a village. Thank you tremendously!🙏

I would like to introduce Ruby AKA Red Baron. The name is still a work in progress any ideas? My walker is already called Daredevil because of the type of red time will tell what I will call this new scooter!.

Being a non-driver sucks when you don't have the means to get around. Cabin fever sets in and really messes with your mental health. I still haven't got my paratransit service as a lot of things take a lot of time down here in California. Slowly but surely I'm getting what I need to live an Independent life.

I took it around the corner yesterday and came back. It was a successful test drive. Of course I had some minor complaints. Nothing major I swear. The turning radius could be better, my order was wrong at my local taco truck. I took a maiden voyage to my local grocery store down the street. I successfully arrived safely and got home safely as well! I tried to go around my neighborhood but people park on sidewalks in my neighborhood which completely takes away my independence. So I went to the grocery store instead.

Thank you very much Julian for helping me assemble the chair and getting things ready for me to get around! Thank you tremendously!

I noticed how easy it was just to stop and take some pictures again as I felt the creative part of my mind fire up. I can't wait to take the next trip! Now, I got to make a new playlist to hit the road!

It's the little things. Lately I've been really feeling the winter blues. Mainly because I wasn't going to be able to go home with my family for Christmas this year. For me I did not have the holiday spirit.

My roommate .w.price surprised me last night with a Christmas tree and presents for me under it. It may not mean a lot for many, but this little act of kindness did wonders for my mental health. It brought a huge smile to my face! The holidays really are difficult for many. Please be kind!

I don't buy into the bu****it capitalistic bastardization it has become. For me it's a mix of nostalgia, but most importantly it's making memories with my loved ones. My Christmas wish is that you don't feel lonely or stressed. Happy holidays everyone, enjoy the rest of the year!

Greetings everybody! It's been a while I know! For the last 2 months I have been experimenting with banana bread and I think I finally figured out the recipe I like! Baking has been very therapeutic. Here is the recipe so you can try it at home! I don't mean to toot my own horn, but toot toot!

Ingredients:

3 ripe organic bananas, mashed

1/3 cup melted organic butter

1 teaspoon organic baking soda

Pinch of salt (organic pink Himalayan)

3/4 cups of organic palm sugar (you can reduce this if you prefer less sweetness)

2 tablespoons of raw organic monk sugar

2 organic eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups organic all-purpose flour

Half a disc of Ibarras Mexican hot chocolate

1 tsp of organic nutmeg

1/2 a cup of raw organic walnuts

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with the melted butter.

3. Stir in the baking soda and salt.

4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.

5. Gently fold in the flour until just combined.

6. Pour the batter into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan.

7. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Pairs well with Mexican hot chocolate!
