When finished, we'd appreciate your help in tidying up the table.
Server just sat us at table and bought food. You scan QR code to order and pay. Utensils/napkins you grab and set up yourself. Water is self serve (you have to walk 15 feet to get your own cup/pitcher if water). Same with takeout box, you need to walk to grab it and pack your own leftovers. Now we have to help clean the table up too. Suggested minimum tip: 15% lol. This is in CA. I didnt tip, but Im willing to bet at least 50% of customers are so accustomed to tip culture they just left the default 15%.

Custom home build, Master shower. "Master" contractor says it's fine.
Apparently this is my wife's fault for picking the wrong tile, but it also looks fine.
These tiles have been scrubbed clean, rinsed, and dried.

Has anyone received a letter like this?
I received this letter today and I'm super worried! The letter doesn't show up in my online account or on my husband's but it arrived in the mail directly from the FO. Its very vague. For background we had our interview on 30th march 2026 and havent had much action since. I did a congressional inquiry which got my ead approved and on 3rd August I got a generic response from the inquiry in regards to my i130 i485 but this letter was issued the same day. Has anyone received the same letter or know what it could be about? It doesn't look the same as other interview notices I've seen

First colonoscopy at the VA tomorrow.
Was all fine and dandy to do all the prep until I took my first sip of this. Why couldn’t they at least make it palatable? It’s so gross and hard to keep down.

every time I catch a whiff of gas, I dutifully leave my gas stove, gas oven, and the building’s gas drying machine behind to go sniff-test my neighbors’ houses first

Return with receipt declined?
Hey, has anybody ever gotten the notice like this? I was trying to make a return the other day at a Marshalls/HomeGoods and I had a receipt but they could not accept the return… they gave me this. i’ve never seen anything like this before so I was wondering if anyone was familiar with what it means.
