My colleague left this note which I find somewhat odd..
Backstory - some dude I worked with I ended up having to report him to HO as he was full on harassing me. I let it go on as he was my mentor. But he use to say things like sit on my lap , cutie , I’ll marry you , all that crap. He’s 20 year older than me (I’m 29) and he was making jokes about me being old? He completely flipped out when I had to report this - tried to turn it back on me that how we talk about everything in his country and how we talk about other people we shouldn’t be doing that.
Anyways we got over that, but he does leave the weirdest notes , I am the only other person that answers this phone in accounts so I presume this note was there for me to see it?
What would someone even mean by that - I am just looking for an outside perspective. Should I ask them about it or ignore it?

To all artists, visitors, partners, vendors, volunteers and contractors.

We are upcycling and repurposing this year’s Festival of Thrift in response to 2020… an extraordinary year full of unforeseen challenges and hardships for all of us.

After weeks of careful consideration we have come to the decision, along with our great friends and partners at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, that holding a large-scale festival in Kirkleatham will not be possible this year.

However, although our Festival of Thrift event scheduled to take place in Kirkleatham on September 12 and 13 2020 has been officially cancelled, in our true thrifty style, we will instead be going ahead with a repurposed Festival that has had a socially distanced makeover for 2020.
