Help me choose!
I am trying to decide between two Jenny Yoo dresses: Ezra (1) and Charlie (2).
Charlie has been the crowd favorite but I just can’t get Ezra out of my head and am having the hardest time deciding. I ordered the Ezra one size up so it does need to be altered to fit, but I would also remove some of the lining to get more of an a-line silhouette instead of ball gown. The pieces hanging on the back of Ezra are also optional sleeves I would remove. Charlie is the easier option when it comes to comfort, alterations, and price but I love the warmer color and the elevated feel of the lace on Ezra. Help! :) (and please ignore my messy office)
Wedding is in October in California wine country with an elevated rustic vibe. Thanks in advance for any feedback!!

to star or not to star
i went to my first bridal appt a few weeks ago with my fiance and fell in love with this star dress, but then i went back today with my mom and MOH and everyone had reactions to OTHER dresses 😭 and i know it’s all about what i think/feel, but the thing is i LOVE the other dresses as well, so of course, im in a pickle. throwing these here because hey, sometimes outside opinions are needed 😂
i don’t have a back pic for the star dress unfortunately, it’s stars align by willowby (watters). second dress is lilac by casablanca, and third dress i forgot to ask the name of. my moh loves the third dress the most (pics 4-5), my mom and the bridal shop worker (and someone’s guest who was there and was incredibly supportive hyping me up 😂) all loved the second dress the most (pics 2-3), and then my fiance and i loved the star one the most when i first went to try it on
this second time around, im still absolutely taken away by the star one, but i feel more bridal in the other two, and i think that’s the biggest thing that’s keeping me from being all in with the star. we’re planning to get married outdoors in colorado in the mountains
the things i love abt the star one: the color, the stars, i feel like it looks flattering on me, it’s incredibly easy to move in, and i don’t feel constricted in it, i feel like i can do whatever and be just fine. but because of that, it doesn’t really have any built in support, and phew i need that
things i love abt the second one: it’s more of a “bridal” feel, i love the built in support so it makes my chest and waist feel/look good, they don’t show well in this pic but the under skirt has a bunch of shimmer on it so i sparkle as i move, and the little petals are tiny hearts. the back is also very flattering imo, but the material is a little uncomfortable on my arms when it rubs against it, and i do feel very buttoned up and constricted in it, which is technically the point.
the third one was tough because it’s below my normal dress size, so it didn’t fit me and we had to just make it work. i think that made it hard to see myself in it despite loving the smoky lavender color and loving the skirt. i’d love to be able to try that one on in a larger size and see if it changes my mind at all
hopefully these pictures upload right cause ive never done this before and it looks like they’re cropping things out 🥴

Finally found my dress!
After searching high and low for the perfect dress, I finally found it! It is such a beauty - pictures don’t do justice! The boutique I went to had Pinterest boards of dresses that were available to try on, and upon browsing I found the Madi Lane Lissy dress and knew it was the one! It was the first dress I tried on along with many other beautiful dresses, but no dress compared to this one. I also posted my runner up dress which was just as beautiful - simple and elegant but I decided to pass simply because I often go for similar styles and wanted something very unique. Happy dress shopping to all the soon-to-be brides!

Help me live up to her elegance!
Meet Elizabeth! I’m obsessed! She’s everything I didn’t know I dreamed of in a dress! It feels so good to have this checked off the wedding planning list, and I’m so excited!!
Now I need help styling myself to love up to her. Would love ideas for hair and makeup to compete the look. We’ll have a fall wedding with a cathedral length veil. (I don’t have the veil yet)

Said yes to the dress eeeek!
I impulsively went and tried on some dresses a year out from my wedding (date and venue still tbc lol) and said yes to a dress. It’s almost the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted in a dress and I’m usually very indecisive so I still can’t really believe I walked away with this eeeek I love it so much ☺️ I’ve just moved countries (literally half way across the world hahah) and didn’t have anyone there with me so just wanted to share my excitement here!!!
PS any styling tips are very very welcome ☺️

Help me choose wedding dress
Hello! My wedding is next year July.
I tried over 60 dresses and still can't choose.
My wedding is during summer in Seattle at winery. So outdoor and greenery.
I like ballgown or A line with either Chantilly lace or some unique structure.
I don't know if I should choose Lace becuase it suits the venue better or choose Mariana Hardwick dress that had unique structure. I love Mariana Hardwick dress I tried on (photo #4) but not sure if it suits the venue and maybe too hot for outdoor wedding in Seattle.
I am open to suggestion as well! Love Chantilly lace and strapless and unique structure. My budget is under 4k
Please help!

Since I can’t show my fiance..
Since I can’t show my fiancée and my family didn’t seem all that excited when I was trying on dresses, thought I’d share this here. Other than the fact it’s missing a leg slit, really wanted one but, it’s exactly what I was looking for!

Please help me pick from these 3!
Option 1 had removal straps, so I could do strapless and/or thin straps. I’d get the dress in a brighter white, but the n**e undertone was my size in store.
I like the back a bit more on option 2, but I think I slightly prefer the floral pattern a bit more in option 1.
Option 3 is my third runner up - it felt more “fine” and I just wasn’t blown away like like I was with options 1 and 2, but it was significantly less expensive 🙃
Thank you!!
*reposting bc my face censoring wasn’t adequate the first time

Which dress looks better?
I’ve narrowed my dress selection down to two and I’m having a hard time deciding! I’m looking for perspectives of people outside of my close friends and family. Thank you!

We are upcycling and repurposing this year’s Festival of Thrift in response to 2020… an extraordinary year full of unforeseen challenges and hardships for all of us.
After weeks of careful consideration we have come to the decision, along with our great friends and partners at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, that holding a large-scale festival in Kirkleatham will not be possible this year.
However, although our Festival of Thrift event scheduled to take place in Kirkleatham on September 12 and 13 2020 has been officially cancelled, in our true thrifty style, we will instead be going ahead with a repurposed Festival that has had a socially distanced makeover for 2020.
Sharing, creating, learning and building a sustainable community together are more relevant than ever. We have been inspired by how our communities have adapted to our new way of living and we want to harness some of that creative sustainable spirit and share it with the world.
So, in September we will still be celebrating, albeit from afar, but with our usual creative flair. We hope that, wherever you are, you will all join us to share, create, learn and enjoy in an alternative way.
As with any great upcycling project there is quite a lot of work being done in the background before the big reveal so - Watch This Space!
We would like to thank all of you for your patience and understanding and we ask you to keep following our social media and communications so we can continue to update you on the progress of our latest exciting project.
We will thrift again…
Warmest wishes and love from the Festival of Thrift Team
