I believe the future of music is much more simple and organic than we realize. No click tracks, no samples. People playing and singing live and interacting in real time. The concept is so simple, yet so far in the past that most people have forgotten that it can even be done that way and how magical it can be. It isn't perfect and it's not supposed to be. It's ART. It's real humans performing in real time. That's what my priority is moving forward. Who's with me?

Been doing some maintenance on my Studer A820 2" machine and getting all the switches to/from the console along with the Zeta synchronizer back in service. Successfully baked and transferred 3 2" tapes this week. Life is good!!!

A common question we get... Can you help me make a beat? The short answer is this, yes. The long answer is much more complex. If you don't have a lyric, don't know what general tempo you want (slow, medium, fast) and don't know what mood (major or minor key), then the answer is NO! If you get the impulse to call me after hours and want to suddenly book studio time for something you're not prepared to do, the answer will always be NO, at least for our studio. We take pride in working true professionals in all genres. If you want to record music, come in prepared!
