💥 1. Describe leadership in 3 words? Vision. Integrity. Service.

💥 2. Where have you seen the most growth in your own leadership journey?

Over the past two years, I’ve experienced the most growth in my leadership by building my confidence and surrounding myself with like-minded, driven individuals. Truly believing in myself and my vision for Sasee has empowered me to lead my team with clarity and inspire them to work toward that same shared goal.

💥 3. What is your current toughest leadership challenge in the publishing industry?

Right now, my biggest focus is capturing attention, building loyalty, and creating value that keeps our readers and advertisers coming back each month. With endless content available across social media, blogs, and podcasts, it’s my job as a leader to ensure our community stays engaged with what we publish. That’s no small challenge when so much is instantly accessible at the click of a button. To meet it, I’ve led the initiative to digitize all of our content while still keeping our print issue relevant and meaningful.

💥 4. What leader (dead or alive) would you love to have coffee with?

The first person who came to mind was Abby Wambach. Growing up, I admired her for her skill and determination on the soccer field. As I got older, though, I came to see that her leadership extended far beyond scoring goals. She inspired her teammates, set the tone for resilience, and played a key role in pushing women’s soccer into the global spotlight. What I admire most is that she redefined what it means to lead. Not just by being the loudest voice, but by empowering others to rise with her. Her book Wolfpack has been a great resource in my own leadership journey, reminding me to step into my full power, embrace risks, and create space for others to thrive alongside me.
