Global Prophetic Alliance will be blessing us all week with prophetic appointments and teaching in the "Refuel Equip" Tent alongside other teachers all week.

The role of the New Testament prophet is to walk as a friend of God, to listen faithfully to what He says and deliver it, teaching and equipping the body of Christ to do the same.

A Prophet is part of the APEST: Christ's gifts to the church.

At Refuel Festival, we will be looking at these gifts, alongside the Gifts of the Spirit as part of our 'Gifted' ministry tent. Do come and join us!

The Refuel Summer Festival

Do our current church structures genuinely create an environment where God’s people are empowered, activated, and equipped? Or have we unintentionally built a culture driven more by control, containment, conformity, and dependency—one that leans toward a discipleship of consumerism and spectatorship?

Have we settled for a model that priorities gathering crowds and delivering polished performances, while failing to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12)? In many places, the primary value has shifted from transformation to entertainment—from encounter to event.

We must ask: does the culture within our churches and ministries produce disciples who know how to innovate, create, and respond to the spontaneous acts of God? Are we raising people who are deeply grounded in biblical truth, forged through a lifestyle of intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and equipped to move with heaven’s rhythm?

One thing is certain: you cannot create an empowering environment in a culture that is rooted in control and containment. Where there is no risk, there is no real spiritual advancement. Control may create order, but it often does so at the expense of growth. And growth without risk is an illusion.

Sadly, in many cases, the culture we’ve created has led to prolonged spiritual immaturity rather than maturity and movement. Instead of training believers to discern, build, and lead, we’ve inadvertently encouraged them to spectate, consume, and conform.

It’s time to evaluate the wineskin. The hour demands a people who are mature, mobile, and full of the Spirit—able to discern what God is doing and move with Him.

We need churches full of confident, competent, empowered ministers who know how to work in partnership with Holy Spirit and demonstrate the Kingdom of God in their daily lives
