Normally I restore radios like this, but lately I just don’t have the time.

It does work, but you will want to do a tune and/or alignment to your preference. It does have fairly new covers on it

My price is firm! If it doesn’t sell, it doesn’t sell…

I do not know the history of this radio or what prior owners have done in/around it or anything else! Although I do know the covers are fairly new and so very minimal use. Radio has wear! See pictures!

Be sure to save yourselves some grief by blocking this guy on eBay!

He’s a con artist and doesn’t know s**t about radios, despite his claim of being a CB’er of 45 years.

He tried conning me for a Galaxy 2547 or 2517, Something with more expensive features than the radio he originally bought, etc…

I am still waiting for a response from him about making repairs to the radio the he caused damage to. It’s been almost a week now!

eBay should have never gotten rid of the Negative/Neutral Feedback for buyers…

Cobra 29 LTD Classic…

Problem: No RX, L3-L9 make difference when adjusted, L2 makes no difference when adjusted using Signal Generator.

Replace: FET1 “2SK192A”

Replace: If RF Gain does not work, 1K/B potentiometer.

I had to replace both. Check RF Gain potentiometer first, it’s the easiest to determine if it’s not working.

This was radio someone else tried to fix and failed miserably!
