My name is Mike Zacchio, and I have been working as a full-service mobile DJ and event MC in the Lower Hudson Valley for over 15 years. After guests continued making comments about my resemblance the singer Pitbull, the nickname "Mr. 845" was born and it has stuck ever since. When it comes to this business, I have three core beliefs: 1. The DJ/MC sets the tone for your event, so it is important wh

o you choose. 2. It is also the job of the DJ/MC to make the client's life easier, not harder. 3. The event is about you — the client, not us, and we should do whatever is in our power to make your experience an incredible one. Being a wedding DJ means delivering the experience YOUR COUPLE wants for THEIR special day – not playing the same cheesy songs heard at every other wedding.

THAT is how you separate your events from “every other wedding”.

In the final week of musical bingo for the summer at Joey A's Bar & Grill, this family had FOUR different winners across six rounds tonight! 🤯

Musical bingo will return to Joey A’s (which is located inside Break Point Bowl & Entertainment) on Thursday, September 3.

Joey A’s will be open for business the rest of the month, but there will not be musical bingo. Please support one of Rockland’s family-owned small businesses.

Since my daughter was born, I have made August a slower month. 🗓️

School is not in session, so I do not have the demands of my normal M-F teaching job. Most people are on vacation, so bookings are typically lower anyway. That combination makes for the perfect opportunity to take a step back, get in some quality family time, and reset my own internal battery.

This summer, I have been using some of the “down time” to plan and make significant changes to how Mr. 845 Entertainment operates. The rest of my time has looked something like this photo.

I’m excited for what is in store the rest of 2026, and stoked to see what 2027 looks like, but for now, I’m soaking in what is left of summer.
